Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain reliable and secure network systems. As a Network Engineer, you will collaborate with IT teams to optimize network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless connectivity across all platforms. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting critical infrastructure and driving the organization’s digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable network architectures
  • Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly to maintain uninterrupted services
  • Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices
  • Implement and enforce network security protocols to protect against vulnerabilities and threats
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new technology implementations and upgrades
  • Document network configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guidelines for future reference

Qualifications and Skills

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or other networking equipment
  • Familiarity with network security tools such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
  • Proficiency in monitoring and diagnostic tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, or Nagios
  • Understanding of VLANs, QoS, and wireless networking standards
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills

  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
  • Experience with cloud-based networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
  • Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) and network automation tools
  • Exposure to VoIP systems and Unified Communications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
